Here at The Spicy Boudoir, we believe that we are all sexual beings until the day we die. Yet there are those in society, and the media, who believe that once you're over 50, or living with a physical disability, that sex is not on the table. That sex and intimacy are presumed missing or dead.
Well, we know that sex and intimacy are very much alive and we are here to challenge those beliefs, one orgasm at a time.
The Spicy Boudoir exists to shine the light on ageless sexuality and demonstrate that sex and intimacy are very much on the table for adults living with a physical disability (whether that be in the kitchen, on the pool table or even under the table!).
Life does change after 50 and it certainly has challenges when living with a disability. Our mission is to help you hold your seat at that table with stories and conversation that will inspire and stoke your inner fire. When your seat becomes wobbly we can guide you to the right information to get you on track, and...when you need a helping hand...our sexual wellness store (and that's a polite way to say adult sex shop!) has the best quality vibrators, dildos, masturbation aids, couples toys, lubes and sex furniture so that you can continue to enjoy your entree, main and dessert.
We believe that tapping into our sexual energy helps keep the spirit alive, and that is one of the keys to sustaining resilience and longevity as we age and deal with physical and emotional challenges.

Hello, Helen. Certainly, your booking for two is confirmed. :) Thank you for your comment. My blog was inspired by a TED talk by Cheryl Cohen Greene back in 2013. Cheryl works in private practice as a surrogate partner and consultant around human sexuality and was the inspiration for the movie The Sessions (starring Helen Hunt).
