I don't write all the time but when I do I find the process is therapeutic. It is a way for me to reflect on my experiences, thoughts, and feelings. It helps build and retain my resilience. If you too decide to write, treat yourself to a beautiful journal and a special pen, you are worth it.
Here in this blogging arena, I will share with you my experiences as I discovered my inner sensual self and the learnings that I have adopted over time. I will share with you the books I have read; describe some of the people I have met; the reflections I have pondered on and my lessons around online dating. There is a saying, 'The things that change your life will be the books you read and the people you meet'. That is the truth.
I hope my writings will give you a good chuckle while at the same you find pearls and gems from within my sexual wisdom. I'd love to know what your take way was and I welcome your positive and constructive comments. If you would like to share a more detailed personal story I encourage readers to contact me through the website.
You can also listen to my podcast where I talk about Sex, Death and Disability - what I like to call The Triple Threat!
It does pain me to say this next bit however, this is the world we live in:
I truly believe that the collective emotional intelligence of society is not quite mature enough to deal with the public soapbox that social media and the internet have become. Every day, I observe total strangers dumping their opinions and judgements on total strangers. I observe many angry armchair-mobsters shouting disgusting, outrageous disapproval at anything and everything that doesn't fit into their box (yes, there is a pun in that).
I'm not here to tell you that my opinions and thoughts are the way you should live your life. I am not here to judge yours. I am here only to help others shed their shame and feelings of guilt because they desire to acknowledge their sexuality and society (and sometimes family) have judged that they shouldn't be. My philosophy is 'Sex is as natural as the air we breathe'. I am constantly asking myself 'Why do we choke on it?'
So in light of the above, there is only one editor of this site and that is The Maven. I reserve the right to remove comments that I find inappropriate and/or don't respect the values of this website.
PS. Personally, I just don't do negativity - what a waste of energy. I don't do arseholes either (except for special people and special requests).
PPS. If you have never experienced a prostate massage, please do not be on your deathbed wishing you had!
